Dr. Leslie grew up in Norfolk, VA where she was a standout in highschool sports. Her talent eventually led her to Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA where she graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration. After managing several businesses, she eventually landed at Lykens Chiropractic where she worked for seven years. While there, she had the opportunity to attend many seminars and grow her love for the power of the human body. After witnessing many miracles with chiropractic, Dr. Leslie realized what she wanted to be when she grew up so she left for Life University in Marietta, GA.

Dr. Leslie’s passion is to teach people how to overcome health obstacles by doing two simple things: removing the stressors or toxins that weaken the body and supplying the body with what it is lacking for vitality. Through chiropractic Dr. Leslie assists the body's natural healing ability by restoring proper spinal nerve communication between the brain and body. This approach to health expression vs. sickness treatment is what drew her to become a chiropractor. She is committed to promoting family wellness through consistent chiropractic care and better lifestyle habits.

At Mountain State Chiropractic Center, we see a variety of people with a variety of health conditions. The great news is that with our thorough chiropractic assessment we get to the cause of your health issues restoring you and your family to a greater state of wellbeing.  We want you to feel comfortable in our office, and encourage you to read through the steps of your first visit below.

Your first visit will give us an opportunity to connect with you and listen to your concerns, needs, and aspirations for your health and life. We ask that you provide information about you, your life, and the experiences that have contributed to where you are at this moment.

After going over your intake forms, we will assess the function and balance of your neuro-spinal system with a detailed examination and x-rays if necessary. This allows us to see what structural compensation your body might be making to adapt to the stress on your nervous system. The information gathered from your history and examination will not only allow for us to see if we can help you reach your desired goals, but will also tell us if you are a good candidate for the care that we provide in our office. Plan to spend about 30-45 minutes to allow ample time for us to be thorough and connect with you. Special time considerations are made for infants or children with special needs (ie. splitting the appointment time into 2 separate times: phone consultation and then an in-office examination).

During the second visit, we will go over in detail the results of your consultation and examination and give you our recommendations. We will give you specific guidelines on frequency and duration for your chiropractic care. This is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions or express any concerns that you might have. We will also begin care on the second visit so that you may begin enjoying life more abundantly. Plan to spend about 30-45 minutes for this visit as well to allow for time to answer any questions regarding care for you and your family.
